Players of New Edubiase are unhappy with the management for not paying them their monthly wages for sometime now.
The FA Cup winners have struggled in the Ghana Premier League so far this season despite finishing among the top five last season.
“How do we give off our best if our wages are not being paid, the authorities better settle us if they want us to play well,” a midfielder, who preferred to remain anonymous, told Goal.com Ghana.
“If after the RTU game on Sunday they do not pay us we will boycott the subsequent games.”
The game with RTU ended 2-0 in favour of Edubiase. The club which is bankrolled by Abdul Salam Yakubu and David Lamptey suffered internal impasse a couple of months back and Goal.com Ghana understands that is causing the delay in the payment of players’ wages.
No official word has come from management yet.
