The team manager of Kpando Heart of Lions, Yashin Laryea, is optimistic the departure of leading striker Benjamin Fadi will not affect the club’s performance.
“We made so many very good signings and we have players who can fill the void and also perform well in the absence of Fadi,” Laryea stated.
“Fadi is very talented but I think we have equally good players who are looking for opportunities to shine and his absence will bring them to the limelight.”
Fadi, 18, who is also the leading striker of the Black Satellites, left Lions for trials with Swedish side Malmo.
The young striking prodigy has been in fantastic form in the Ghana Premier League where he has netted four goals so far and is the livewire of the Kpando-based team.
