Asante Kotoko's Joseph Ochaya to miss three premier league matches after joining Uganda for the Cecafa Cup
The Porcupine Warriors will have to do without the impressive 19-year-old who has joined the Uganda national team for the Cecafa cup
The dfending champions of the Ghana premier league Kumasi Asante Kotoko will be missing the services of their Ugandan defender, Joseph Ochaya, who has flown to Kampala to join the Cranes for the upcoming Cecafa Cup.
The 19-year-old has been impressive for the Porcupine Warriors and it seems his performances in Ghana have not gone unnoticed after Scottish manager Bobby Williamson invited him for the competition reserved for East and Central African countries.
The championship will start on November 24 and end on December 8, therefore Ochaya will miss matches against Tema Youth, New Edubiase United and Ebusua Dwarfs.
The left-back caught the eyes of Kotoko when he played for the Uganda Under-20 team against Ghana in the Africa U20 championship qualifiers.
