The midfielder is confident his exit from Asante Kotoko will cause no problems since they have the men to do the business on the pitch
TP Mazembe midfielder, Daniel Nii Adjei says his former team, Kumasi Asante Kotoko will survive in his absence.
The 24-year-old ended his five-year stint with the Porcupine Warriors on Sunday when he played in the team’s goalless draw game with Accra Hearts of Oak.
Adjei’s move to TP Mazembe cost the Congolese club $150,000.
The Ghanaian international was a kingpin in the midfield of the Red Devils and ended the 2011-2012 season as the most valuable player. The midfielder has played down the effects of his exit.
“They can find a suitable replacement, why not?" Adjei told Goal.com Ghana.
“I came to meet some people who were doing well and when they left, I stepped in so they can equally get good replacements even though the style might be different."
He could play against his former club in the next edition of the Caf Champions League since both Kotoko and TP Mazembe will be participating.
