The young defender believes his form at Novara in the Serie B could take him back to his mother club, Genoa earlier than the stipulated time
Novara defender, Masahudu Alhassan says he could make a quick return to his mother club, Genoa in January 2013.
The 19-year-old is on-loan at the Serie B side, Novara from Italian top flight team Genoa for one season.
But the left-back has disclosed the technical team at Genoa promised him of an early return if he plays consistently in the Serie B and performs well.
Alhassan told Goal.com Ghana that based on his own assessment; he thinks his performances merit a swift return to The Red-Blues.
“I am getting more playing time and I am happy about that, maybe I can go back to Genoa in January because they assured me that I could be invited back after the break if I excel at Novara," he said.
“I believe I am doing very well so I wouldn’t be surprised if it happens.”
Alhassan also added that he is confident that Novara who are placed in the relegation zone will beat the drop to stay in the Serie B.
