The bulky defender has made a quick return to fitness to boost the defensive options of the Phobians who are set to face their toughest test of the season against rivals, Kotoko
There is good news for Accra Hearts of Oak ahead of their clash with arch rivals, Kumasi Asante Kotoko following the recovery of defender, Godwin Osei Bonsu from injury.
The former Sportin Mirren central defender picked up an injury in Hearts’ last league match against Real Tamale United which the Phobians won 3-2 at the Accra Sports stadium.
But he has started light training and could partner Nuru Sule in defense when they take on the Porcupine Warriors on Sunday at the Baba Yara sports stadium in Kumasi.
The match will be the first assignment of newly appointed Hearts of Oak coach, David Duncan who only started training with the team this week.
