Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas is back for Porto's Ghana international Christian Atsu Tswasam and has penciled him as his number one winter signing.

Villas-Boas has also tabled down £12 million to snatch the youngster from the Dragons as he seeks a natural left winger who can also act as a playmaker.

According to the Sunday People, scouts of The Lilywhites have been watching the Ghanaian youngster in the Uefa Champions League and they are very impressed with his output whilst Dennis Levy has also noticed his qualities and is ready to release the cash for his purchase.

Atsu, 20, was promoted to the Porto first team by Andre Villas-Boas before moving to Chelsea but the youngster could not hold a regular first team place and continued his development at Rio Ave.
