Ghana U-17 coach confident of the chances of the Black Starlets against South Africa

The Black Starlets manager is confident Ghana will end its five-year wait to make another appearance at the CAN U17 championship

The head coach of Ghana’s Under-17 men’s team, Paa Kwesi Fabin says his boys have prepared enough to account for their South African counterparts, the Amajimbos.

The two sides are meeting in the first leg of the final 2013 Africa U-17 qualifiers.

Ghana’s Black Starlets who are leaving for Johannesburg on Tuesday night are chasing a qualification to the Africa championship in Morocco next year after missing out of the two previous tournaments.

“We have prepared well and I believe in my boys that they can go there and produce the needed results,” Fabin told Ghana.

Ghana gained an automatic qualification to the final phase of the qualifiers after the withdrawal of The Gambia who failed to raise a team.
