The striker said signing for the Red-Whiles will help him realise his dream of playing in the Uefa Champions League
The Hacken forward signed a five-year deal with The Red-Whites and is expected to join them in January as reported by Goal.com Ghana last month.
“Spartak are a big club and I have always wanted to play in the Champions League. I hope my dream will come true here,” the Swedish Allsvenskan goal king said on the club’s website.
Waris believes he will be able to get a chance to play in the Uefa Champions League with the Russian side. He has earned four international caps with Ghana.
