The striker said signing for the Red-Whiles will help him realise his dream of playing in the Uefa Champions League

Ghana international Abdul Majeed Waris could not hide his joy after signing for Russian Premier League giants Spartak Moscow.

The Hacken forward signed a five-year deal with The Red-Whites and is expected to join them in January as reported by Ghana last month.

“Spartak are a big club and I have always wanted to play in the Champions League. I hope my dream will come true here,” the Swedish Allsvenskan goal king said on the club’s website.

Waris believes he will be able to get a chance to play in the Uefa Champions League with the Russian side. He has earned four international caps with Ghana.
