Jordan Ayew scores in Olympique Marseilles’ 2-2 draw with Monchengladbach

The 21-year-old seem to have found his scoring boot and has once again struck for the Stade Velodrome side in the Europa League
Ghana forward Jordan Ayew scored his second goal in four days as Olympique Marseille drew 2-2 with German side Borrusia Monchengladbach in the Europa league on Thursday.

Ayew, who netted in the weekend as the Stade Velodrome side beat Ajaccio 2-0 in the French Ligue 1 continued his fine goal scoring form by finishing off a brilliant move in the 67th minute at the Stade Velodrome to give OM a 2-1 lead, but the visitors struck late in the game to share the spoils.

The game began on a very pacy note with the Germans drawing first blood through Mike Hanke in the 22nd minute but the home side leveled through on loan QPR forward Joey Barton 10 minutes into the second half before Ayew’s finished off the fantastic move.

With defeat staring at their faces, Venezualan midfielder Juan Arango got his name on the score sheet in injury time against the run of play for the visitors to earn a 2-2 draw.
