The general captain of the Black Stars is expected to leave Ghana by the close of the week to Europe to finalise a deal to see him returning to club footballBlack Stars’ general captain John Mensah has finally recovered from an on and off nagging knee injury which has affected him since the beginning of the year.
Mensah 29, suffered the injury during the Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea and again aggravated it during the recent Ghana-China friendly game.
The central defender was on prescription whilst training with West Ham a month ago and later came to Ghana to seek traditional treatment, which has been very efficient to him.
Over the weekend Mensah was spotted doing some gym work and playing alongside his close pal Stephen Appiah at the Lizzy Sports Complex in East Legon, Accra.
Goal.com Ghana can also reveal that Mensah would leave Ghana by the close of the week to Europe to finalise a deal which would see him returning to club football.
