The 16-year-old says he wants to represent Ghana though the door is opened for him to play for USA
US-based Ghanaian born Silas Kyei Twumasi is aiming at a call-up in Ghana’s Under-17 team, the Black Starlets.
The South Bronx United player who has been living in the United States since infancy is on the cards of the US junior side, the Young Yankees.
But his biggest dream is to represent Ghana starting with the Black Starlets.
"It is my wish to play for Ghana though I have stayed in New York almost all my life, I feel more Ghanaian and will never turn my back on Ghana,” he told Goal.com Ghana.
"I want to get a call-up to play for the Black Starlets, I score lots of goals every season and I can transfer my form and contribute a lot to help the Ghana National Under-17," the 16-year-old striker said.
The Black Starlets are currently in camp preparing to play against South Africa in the 2013 Africa U17 qualifiers.
