The winger scored the first of Kotoko’s two goals against Berekum Arsenals over the weekend and speaking on Accra-based Happy FM, he says his best is yet to be unraveled.
“Ghanaians know how good I am. I have been playing actively in Kotoko for six months now and so what I will say is that the best of Helegbe is yet to come,” he said.
“The playing body also has a cordial relationship with me as I have played with some in the national team and even at Liberty Professionals before, so I know where I stand in the team.”
The former Liberty Professionals winger admits his current side was under pressure going in for their first win against Berekum Arsenals.
He said: “If we had not won the game, our title hopes for the season would have been made more difficult so we were hopeful for the victory.”
Kotoko will next play league leaders Medeama away at Tarkwa on Match day six of the 2012-13 league season.
