Ghana midfielder, Sulley Muntari has fully recovered from his knee injury and is in line to mark his season’s opener against Palermo in the Serie A on Tuesday.
The 28-year-old picked the injury during the summer holidays in a charity match in Accra.
He was ruled out till December but the former Inter Milan player has beaten the recovery deadline.
Milan coach, Massimiliano Allegri named Muntari in his 21-man squad for Tuesday’s match.
The Rossoneri have had a poor start to their 2012-2013 campaign and will be hoping the Ghanaian plays a vital role in their recovery.
It is also good news for the handlers of the Ghana national team, the Black Stars as the West African country prepares to end their 31-year trophy drought at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations tournament in South Africa.
