The head coach of Real Tamale United Mohammed Gargo is appealing to corporate Ghana to come to the aid of the club by way of sponsorship.
He said such gesture would relieve the management of huge financial burden which is on the verge of crippling the Pride of the North.
“Without sponsorship it is very difficult for the club to run its operations and also motivate the players to deliver. The players have not been paid their allowances and it is really affecting performances,” Gargo told Graphic Sports.
“The club administration is now facing financial difficulties since Wienco, our sponsors left us when we were relegated and they have not come back. I am appealing to them and other companies also to sponsor us.”
“Now there is some sort of uncertainty in the team because the players don’t know when they are going to be paid,” the coach added.
According to the former national star, the club has come to stay and will not go back to the wilderness of Ghana football again.
