Juventus young hit man Richmond Boakye-Yiadom who is dazzling in his loan spell with Serie B side Sassuolo would join the Black Satellites for the African Youth Championship in Algeria.
The talented forward was part of the Black Satellites team which failed last year in the same tournament in South Africa, but he would still get the chance again as he falls within the age range.
“Boakye has proven that he has really matured. He is scoring day in day out in Italy and he can be very useful upfront in our quest to qualify for the Under-20 World Cup in Turkey,” a member of the U20 management team revealed to Goal.com Ghana.
The former Genoa player who signed for Juventus this summer and is now on loan at Sassuolo scored on his Black Stars debut against China a couple of months ago.
Goal.com Ghana also understands that his team-mate Yussif Raman Chibsah who is also on sparkling form has caught the attention of coach Maxwell Konadu and his assistant Prince Owusu.
