Ghana midfielder, Sulley Muntari on Wednesday trained with his AC Milan team mates to signal that he will make a return to full fitness before the actual recovery time.
The 28-year-old picked up a knee injury in Accra in a charity match during the summer break.
He was ruled out for six months which means his actual return date is in December.
However, the player has made tremendous improvements and it is likely his return will be a month before schedule.
The former Inter Milan player worked with the ball with his team mates but missed out of the mini match.
Ghana coach, Kwesi Appiah is hoping Muntari will recover soon to make the Black Stars list for the 2013 Africa cup of nations in January.
