The government of the southern African country has promised the Flames some incentives if they are able to shoot the Black Stars down
The Flames must overturn a 2-0 loss they suffered at the hands of the Black Stars at the Accra Sports Stadium last month.
The Minister of Youth and Sports of the southern African country Enock Chihana said the move is part of government’s initiative to encourage the players to produce a good result in Lilongwe on Saturday.
“Although we appreciate how strained our budget is, we will try to give you something good not like what you have been receiving previously,” Chihana told reporters when he inspected the CIVO stadium.
“You have nothing to lose, all of us will come up with full force to support you this Saturday so that we burn the Black Stars,” said Chihana.
The four-time African champions with a 2-0 advantage from the first leg face the Flames this Saturday in Lilongwe with the winner of the tie qualifying for the South Africa-bound championship.
