The talented forward signed a three-year deal for Liberty Professionals from Sekondi Eleven Wise this season, but has not been able to train or be with his new club because of his engagement in national assignment.
Assifuah who netted Ghana's second goal in the 3-0 thrashing of Uganda is now expected to join his new team-mates and familiarize with them as well as prepare for this weekend's Glo Premier league clash with Amidaus at the Tema Sports Stadium, Goal.com Ghana understands.
The 18-year-old nimble footed forward came into stardom during the just ended Division One league where he netted eight times and was the livewire in the set up of the “Western Show Boys.”
Clubs such as Medeama and Dwarfs were also on his heels before he opted for the Dansoman-based club.
