Saudi Arabia's plans of cancelling their match with Congo is likely to pave the way for a clash with the Black Stars
The Black Stars of Ghana might get the chance to play against Saudi Arabia in an international friendly match at the Prince Mohammed Fahad Bin Abdul Aziz stadium in Dammam on October 16.
This is after it came to light that the Asians are on the verge of cancelling their match with Congo Brazzaville on October 14.
"The Saudi Arabia FA have contacted us to play them in Dammam on October 16 since they think a clash with Ghana will attract more people to the stadium than with Congo," a member of the GFA told Goal.com Ghana.
The Green Falcons of Saudi Arabia walloped Ghana 5-0 in a friendly match in September, 2007.
