Ghana midfielder, Michael Essien travelled with the Real Madrid squad to Amsterdam on Tuesday for Wednesday’s Uefa champions league group match against Ajax Amsterdam.
The 29-year-old has recovered from the minor injury that kept him out of the 5-1 victory over Deportivo La Coruna on Sunday.
Essien who is part of the provisional 24 man squad and is a sure bet for a place in the team that will take on the Dutch champions at the Amsterdam Arena.
