The playmaker has not reached a deal yet with any of the elite clubs, but he is hopeful to make it after the first round of fixtures of the domestic top flight

Former Accra Hearts of Oak playmaker Obed Ansah has stated that he would make his long-awaited return to the Ghana Glo Premiership in the second round as talks are still ongoing between him and some clubs.

“No deal has been concluded yet between me and any club, some clubs are still in talks with me and I hope something positive would come out soon,” he told Goal.com Ghana.

“The fact is I may not be able to play this first round, but will definitely play in the second round of the league.”

The former Kpando Heart of Lions midfielder decided not to extend his contract with the Phobians after it ended last two seasons. A move to South African side Bloemfontein Celtic also failed due to disagreement in personal terms.

The ex-Black Meteors player featured for first division side Tarkwa United in the second round of last season to maintain his fitness level and Medeama SC is believed to be his likely destination.
