The Porcupine Warriors issued a statement of intent ahead of the new season after beating FA cup holders New Edubiase United in the Super Cup
The Porcupine Warriors scored in each half through striker Kofi Nti Boakye, who ensured the Fabulous Boys went back to Kumasi smiling.
Edubaise were playing without three key players who have been transferred including last season’s top scorer, Emmanuel Baffour.
Last season, the Super Cup went to a second tier side Nania Fc who beat Berekum Chelsea, the then league champions on penalties.
