The 2011-2012 best player of the season has hinted that he will not hesitate to join the four-time African champions if the terms are right
It is being reported that the Congolese club have made enquiries about the highly rated midfielder in the Ghanaian league.
When contacted by Goal.com Ghana, Nii Adjei said he was flattered to have heard the news though it did not come to him officially from the Porcupine Warriors, but rather in the media.
“I will first have to meet officials of Kotoko but even before I do that, I think if what I am hearing is true, then I will say it is refreshing,” the 23-year-told Goal.com Ghana.
“I know Kotoko have qualified for the Caf Champions League but looking at TP Mazembe’s run on the continent, I don’t think it will be out of place to move there,” Nii Adjei added.
Adjei played a huge role in helping the Kumasi giants to win the Ghana Premier League title last season and ended the term with the most valuable player accolade.
The Ravens are currently in the semi-final of the Caf Champions League, a competition they have won four times.
