The left back says being active at club level now will be the key to more call ups to the Black Stars soon
Ghanaian defender, Masahudu Alhassan says he is confident of breaking into the Black Stars team again anytime soon.
The 19 year old left back has thrown a challenge to the preferred left backs in the team to be on their guard.
Alhassan was until last February part of the Black Stars team and was even at the 2012 nation’s cup in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.
He recently left Genoa for Novara in the Serie B for a season long loan deal.
“ I know that I will soon be back in the team once I have started playing consistently because the technical handlers told me I can only play for the national team if only I am active at club level,” he told Accra based, Radio XYZ.
“ I am very confident of commanding a first team place if invited, I am enjoying myself at Novara because I play full time in each game and I am also targeting a starting place at my mother club, Genoa when I am done with my loan here,” Alhassan added.
Masahudu Alhassan has also played for the male under 20 team, the Black Satellites and the under 23 side, the Black Meteors.
