The Black Satellites annihilated the north Africans at the Tamale Stadium to hold the advantage to qualify to the finals of the next edition of the youth championship
The Black Satellites first set the Tamale Stadium agog with an opening goal from Frank Sarfo Gyamfi in the 31st minute.
That opener was short lived as Atlas Cubs’ Chibi Mohammed pulled level for his side after two minutes into play.
He capitalized on a counter-attack situation to cut short Ghana’s celebrations. However, the former Africa and World Champions came back into the game when Lawrence Lartey headed home from a Derrick Mensah corner to make it 2-1 for Ghana.
The third goal came after the interval through substitute Frank Acheampong in the 58 minutes after a goal bound shot deflected off the body of a Moroccan.
The 18-year-old Buriram United striker got his name on the score sheet again in the 90th minutes to seal Ghana’s victory.
The Black Satellites return to Rabat in two weeks for the second leg fixture.
