Ghana midfielder Michael Essien is set to make his Real Madrid debut on Saturday at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan against Sevilla.
Los Blancos manager Jose Mourinho gave the hint at a press conference on Friday.
The Portuguese trainer was full of praise for his former apprentice at Chelsea.
“Essien has come with a huge motivation, with the energy of seven years without physical discomfort,” Mourinho told the press. “Michael has been very nice, I appreciate the gesture.”
“Michael has been nice today saying that the most important miss of Real Madrid would be mine, but we are all equal.”
The Bison joined The Vikings on a season-long loan deal on transfer deadline day.
