Hearts of Oak suspend Laryea Kingston indefinitely for insubordination

Hearts of Oak have indefinitely suspended midfielder Laryea Kingston for insubordination.

The former Ghana international was axed from pre-season camping in Sekondi after having driven his personal car there contrary to instructions given to players by head coach C.K Akunnor.

According to officials of the Phobians, Kingston’s suspension takes effect from September 12.

Reports have it that the 31-year-old could have been allowed to stay in camp if he had heed directive to take the car away from camp.  

Coach Akunnor, also a former Ghana international, is seeking to restore discipline within the setup of the former Africa champions ahead of the new season that kicks off on October 7.
