The leading goal scorer in the Caf Champions League will be joining the Tunisian giants in DecemberBerekum Chelsea striker Emmanuel Clottey has inked a three-year deal with Esperance Sportive de Tunis.
The 25-year-old passed his medicals this week after the Tunisian giants agreed a US$ 1.5 million transfer deal with the Blood and Gold.
Clottey is expected to earn about US$500,000 a year after agreeing personal terms.
Goal.com Ghana understands Club Africain and Etoile du Sahel showed keen interest to sign the leading goal scorer of the 2012 Caf Champions League, but the Blood and Gold’s bid was enticing.
The striker will be available to play for the reigning Caf Champions League title holders in December.
Clottey was unable to join the Black Stars for the Liberia trip on Monday due to his travel to Tunisia to see to his new deal.
