The ‘Rock of Gibraltar’ is currently weighing his options and although he seems interested to play in England, the Europa League campaigners kept knocking at his doorIsraeli giants Hapoel Tel Aviv have offered Ghana captain John Mensah a US$ 250,000 a year contract though the defender is currently training with English Premier League side West Ham.
The 29-year-old has attached himself to West Ham to keep his form and hopes to ink a deal in the EPL instead of Israel.
“Mensah has not confirmed whether he would accept the offer or not as his eyes are on the English Premiership and he is currently training with West Ham for a possible deal,” his public relations manager Frank Ampadu told Goal.com Ghana.
“There are also offers from Turkey and Scotland and God willing he would be back to action soon.”
Mensah has been without a club since his release by Olympic Lyon this summer after injuries affected his progress with the French Ligue 1 side.
The guardsman, who has played for Sunderland before, might sign for the Hammers depending on the offer they provide as Sam Allardyce is a big admirer of the rugged defender.
