The forward is appealing to the fans in the capital to be tolerant as they meet the Flames of Malawi in a 2013 Afcon qualifier on Saturday

Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan has said fans at the Accra Sports Stadium are impatient as compared to those in Kumasi.

The 26-year-old will be playing for the Black Stars for the first time since he ended his five-month self imposed exile last month.

Gyan took an indefinite break after missing a penalty against Zambia in the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations in February.

At a press conference at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, the Baby Jet, who will be captaining the team in Saturday's  Afcon 2013 qualifier against the Flames of Malawi admitted that Accra is sometimes a hostile environment.

“The Accra fans are inpatient as compared to the Kumasi fans and it’s part of the game. I hope they will have patience for us on Saturday,” Gyan said.
