The midfielder’s agent believes the player will benefit a lot from the Romanian deal as he eyes a national team call-up
“FCR Cluj was settled on for the loan because there was a prospect of him (Adofo) getting regular playing time which could brighten his chances of getting a Black Stars call-up,” Oliver Arthur told the Graphic Sports.
“We had other offers also from FC Zurich, Spanish giants Valencia and a host of others but the boy's future is the major concern so we opted for Cluj who are playing in the Champions league.”
Adofo, who is a defensive midfielder, captained the Parma Primavera side last season and he is part of the current Ghana Under-17 team.
Cluj have now acquired 50% of Adofo's commercial rights and can make the deal permanent at the end of the season.
