The Kumasi-based club is making a return to the domestic top flight after spending the last one year in the Division One league
King Faisal have made a quick return to the Ghana Premier League, one year after going on demotion to the second-tier league.

The Kumasi-based club won their match 2-0 in the Division One League play-off on Friday against Sekondi Hasaacas to gain promotion to next season’s domestic top flight.

Goals from Samuel Adade and Prince Boateng ensured that Alhaji Karim Grunsah’s side sail through to the elite division.

The bankroller of the club Alhaji Grunsah will now have to turn his attention to prepare his team ahead of the 2012-2013 football season, which commences in October this year.

Faisal are returning to the Glo Premier League with Real Tamale United alongside newly promoted side Amidaus.
