The Porcupine Warriors new coach, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, was drafted in to take over from Maxwell Konadu after the Ghana Premier League Coach of the Year was appointed as an assistant coach of the Black Stars.

The Kumasi-based club has been shopping for new players following the departure of a few of their men.

Players such as Eric Bekoe, Ransford Osei, Nurudeen Ali, Seidu Bancey, Musah Issah, Ben Adama, Joseph Ochaya, Godfred Asante, Ofosu Mickey, Touffic Omar and Smallboy Kobbah have all found themselves in the Porcupine Warriors camp.

Experienced midfielder Stephen Oduro, strikers Ahmed Toure and Kofi Nti Boakye look set to ply their trades elsewhere whiles defenders Awal Mohammed and Baba Rahman have been transferred and will not be part of the Fabulous Boys come next season.

Coach Dramani and the new players will be officially unveiled at a grand event expected to take place in Kumasi ahead of the new season that is scheduled to commence October 7.

Kotoko will return to the Africa Champions League competition in 2013 after emerging as the local league winners in the 2011-2012 season.
