Veteran Stephen Oduro on top of New Edubiase's radar ahead of Africa campaign
The 30-year-old midfielder has been released by Asante Kotoko after 11 years of service and the MTN FA Cup champions feel he has what it takes to succeed in Africa
African Confederation Cup campaigners New Edubiase are lining up a bid to sign veteran midfielder Stephen Oduro in an attempt to beef up their squad ahead of the Caf Confederation Cup and the Ghana Premier League.The reigning MTN FA Cup champions are looking for an experienced midfielder as they head into their debut continental campaign in the coming season.
“Oduro is one of the players who is high on the agenda of New Edubiase and we will do everything possible to sign him,” Goal.com Ghana’s close source within the management revealed.
“In Africa you definitely need players like Oduro who has seen it all to propel you forward and we will surely acquire him,” it added.
The 30-year-old has been released by Asante Kotoko after 11 years of good service where he was the darling of the fans of the Porcupine Warriors.
