The Black Princesses tasted their second defeat in the ongoing Fifa Under-20 Women’s World Cup in Japan.

Germany shattered their hopes of advancing beyond the group stage following a 1-0 win over their Ghanaian counterparts on Thursday.

An injury-time winner from substitute Lina Magull gave the reigning world champions the win which ended the Black Princesses hopes in the Group D contest in Hiroshima.

Ghana lost their opening day fixture to the United States in a humiliating 4-0 score line.

Robert Sackey's side can bow out with grace if they manage to win against China PR in the last group match on Monday in Saitama.
