The defender said the Kumasi-based club has done a lot for him since he was discovered in a reality show and his love for the Porcupine Warriors moved him to extend his pact
Earlier reports indicated that Baah was set to join a club in Europe fuelling speculation he was set to abandon the Porcupine Warriors.
But the former Sporting Mirren captain has committed his future with the Kumasi-based club for two more years and he will be pocketing a whopping GhC 200,000 (US$ 103,225).
Speaking to Goal.com Ghana, the 22-year-old said his love for Kotoko and his ambition to win more laurels were the reasons why he extended his contract with them.
“I love this club, it was not a difficult thing for me at all when they offered me the contract, they have helped me a lot and I could not turn my back on them, I want to win more with Kotoko and that was the reason [why] I extended my contract,” Baah said.
The player who was exception in the later stage of the last season after coming back from a horrible injury will be given a stiff competition next season after Asante Kotoko signed Ivorian Benjamin Adamah.
