New Edubiase’s Anthony Commey: We’ll win the FA Cup to make it to Caf Confederation Cup
The Adansi derby will be taking place on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium and the winner gains automatic slot to next year’s Caf Confederation Cup
The coach of New Edubiase, Anthony Commey, is optimistic his charges are on the verge of making history by beating AshantiGold in the FA Cup final. Both sides will square-off on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium in a game which happens to be Edubiase’s first ever final in the knock-out competition.
They are going into the game without key striker Emmanuel Baffour, who finished as the Ghana Premier League's top-scorer last season.
Coach Commey is still hopeful of winning the Adansi derby.
“The time has come for as to do something that has never been done in the history of Ghana football,” he said ahead of the match.
“We will win the trophy to ensure our qualification for the Caf Confederation Cup next season.”
