thumbnail Hello,

The 2009 World Youth champions are struggling to make inroads on the qualification path to the 2013 Africa Youth Championship

The coach of the Black Satellites Maxwell Konadu has given the strongest indication that the Under-20 side will overturn the 3-1 defeat against Uganda in the second leg.

Konadu admitted he is facing an uphill task, but remains optimistic the Hippos will fall come next week in Ghana.

“It’s going to be difficult, but nothing is impossible in football,” the care-taker coach told Goal.com Ghana. “The east Africans were good and capitalised on their chances. We’ll do our homework and map out a strategy to defeat them.”

“It’s not over and we’re working towards restoring that hope in our fans. The players are fine and are looking forward to the return leg. I’m hopeful and won’t give up.”

Konadu is banking hopes on home advantage.
