After beating Wassaman in the semi-final stage of the knock-out tournament, Edubiase will turn focus on Ashgold for the ultimate prizeNew Edubiase coach Anthony Commey has lauded his team for their spirited performance that earned them a win against Wassaman United in their MTN FA Cup semi-final clash.
New Edubiase beat Wassaman by a lone goal courtesy a Bernard Ofori’s 85th minutes strike to book a date in the final with Ashgold next Sunday.
“Edubiase has a style of play, we hold the ball for so long in a possessive style, we were down by one player and if we handed the ball to them, we would have to defend more so by holding on to the more, we could attack more and that was our secret,” Commey told Citi FM.
The manager stated they are going back to the drawing board to prepare for the final against the Miners.
He said: “It’s another game; we are going home to plan for the Ashgold match.”
