The Porcupine Warriors want to augment their squad for the upcoming season as they seek to defend the domestic top flight title and make an impact in the Caf CL
The club’s official mouthpiece Kotoko Express reported on Friday that five of the players are from the premier league while the other three are joining from the lower divisions.
According to the paper, highly rated striker of Ebusua Dwarfs, Seidu Bancey, has been signed on as well as Berekum Chelsea’s Ali Nurudeen.
The Kumasi-based club can also boast of the services of Medeama’s central defender Kwabena Edusei.
The Heart of Lions duo of Godfred Asante and Small Boy Coba have also joined the 21-time league champions.
The two players from the second-tier division are Mohammed Toure and Musa Issa of Guan United while Nafiu Dramani of Cheetah in the third-tier completes the list.
The executive chairman of the club, Dr. K.K Sarpong, said they are in discussions with two Premier League clubs for the services of two other players.
