The midfielder is on a two-week trial with The Dolphins and could become the third major departure from the Bekwai-based club this JulyGoal.com Ghana can exclusively reveal that Ghana Under-20 international Asiedu Attobrah is currently in Israel for trials with Premier League side Ashdod FC.
The 17-year-old is on a two-week trial, according to the President of New Edubiase, Abdul Sallam Yakubu aka ‘Sabato’.
Attobrah was one of the stars of the 2011-12 Ghana Premier League (GPL) season for his New Edubiase side, winning plaudits for his all-action displays in midfield. He had recently been linked with a move to GPL’s two biggest sides, Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak.
The Black Satellites squad member is now in Israel for tests with the side that finished seventh in last season's Ligat HaAl, where Ghanaian goalkeeper Sammy Adjei formerly played.
Attobrah could become the third major departure from the Bekwai-based club already this summer, with Abubakari Mumuni and Emmanuel Baffour already having joined South African Premier Soccer League side Mamelodi Sundowns in June.
