Barcelona captain Carles Puyol is set to earn his 100th cap as world champions Spain take on Uruguay on Wednesday.
The stopper takes his place in the centre of Vicente del Bosque's back four, in a side which includes seven Barcelona players, including Victor Valdes, who earns his spot in goal due to Iker Casillas' hand injury.
There is also a Premier League influence to La Roja's starting XI, with Chelsea duo Cesar Azpilicueta and Juan Mata both earning starts, while Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla plays alongside Sergio Busquets and Andres Iniesta in a central three.
For Uruguay, the familiar duo of Liverpool's Luis Suarez and Napoli's Edinson Cavani lead the line for the current South American Champions.
Spain (4-3-3): Valdes; Azpilicueta, Ramos, Puyol, Alba; Busquets, Iniesta, Cazorla; Pedro, Cesc, Mata.
Uruguay: (4-4-2): Muslera, Pereira, Lugano, Godin, Caceres; Gonzalez, Diego Perez, Lodeiro, C. Rodríguez; Cavani, Luis Suárez.
