Winger Moura joined the Paris-based side in January on a four-and-a-half-year contract from Sao Paulo and will be directly competing with Menez for a position in the starting XI.
And in an interview with Telefoot, Menez insisted that the signing of the Brazilian will have a positive impact on the squad and added that he will relish the competition for a starting berth.
"The competition is not something that scares me, I'm afraid of no one," insisted the Rouge-et-Bleu winger.
"Lucas Moura is someone who comes in as an addition to help the team - so much the better.
"Quite simply, the best will play," he added.
PSG currently lie third in Ligue 1 and next face Bordeaux on Sunday.
