West Ham United-Tottenham Hotspur Betting Preview: Brilliant Bale can inspire Spurs again

West Ham United-Tottenham Hotspur Betting Preview: Brilliant Bale can inspire Spurs again

Latest Barcelona-Real Madrid Betting Preview: Why backing Ronaldo to score offers serious value Previous

Andre Villas-Boas' side will look to extend their unbeaten run in the Premier League when they visit Upton Park and Willie Duncan is backing the visitors to enjoy an away win

Tottenham will look to consolidate their challenge for a Champions League qualification spot when they make the trip across London to face West Ham United in Monday night’s Premier League encounter.

Andre Villas-Boas’ men are sure to come into this match in good spirits, having gone 10 Premier League matches without a defeat and the visitors are chalked up as BetVictor’s 5/4 (2.25) favourites to extend that run in style by claiming all three points against the Hammers.

Sam Allardyce’s men have managed just two victories in their last 11 Premier League outings and are understandably rated as a 12/5 (3.40) chance with BetVictor to bag a vital home victory against Spurs here, while the same firm go 5/2 (3.50) that the match ends in stalemate.

Gareth Bale has been in scintillating form for Spurs in recent weeks, having scored an impressive six goals in his last five matches for the north London club. As a result of that good form, it comes as little surprise to find the Wales international available at just 4/1 (5.0) with BetVictor to break the deadlock on Monday, while the same firm offer a hugely tempting 6/5 (2.20) that Bale scores at any time during the match.

Despite winning just one of their last five matches in the Premier League, West Ham have scored in all five of those fixtures so it might be worth backing BetVictor’s 8/11 (1.73) quote that both teams are on target here.

Striker Andy Carroll - on loan at West Ham from Liverpool - is likely to be pose a threat to a Spurs side that has conceded in six of their last seven matches and he can be backed at 15/2 (8.50) with BetVictor to score first, while the same firm go 12/5 (3.40) that the 24-year-old striker, who scored the only goal of the game in the Hammers’ recent home win over Swansea City, nets at any time.

However, in-form Spurs look to be too strong here and should be snapped up at BetVictor’s generous 5/4 (2.25) quote to win at Upton Park while their talisman, Bale, is the value pick at 4/1 (5.0) with BetVictor to set the ball rolling for Andre Villas-Boas’ men with the opening goal of the game.
