thumbnail Hello,

Tipster Jonathan Day correctly backed two of three tips last week, and he's looking to go one better this Saturday with picks from the Premier League, Bundesliga and La Liga

Malaga
VS
Real Betis
Kick off: Saturday, September 29 at 19:00 BST
Tip: Malaga to win at 7/10 (1.70) with Bet365

Malaga’s money problems have not led to a similar story on the pitch and coach Manuel Pellegrini has guided Los Boquerones to an unbeaten start in La Liga.

Goals have been harder to come by this year following the departure of striker Salomon Rondon, the retirement of Ruud Van Nistelrooy and the loss of creative linchpin Santi Cazorla.

Former Barcelona and Real Madrid striker Javier Saviola has shown he still has something to offer; following goals in La Liga and the Champions League, whilst midfielder Isco is one of the hottest properties in Spanish football right now.

Opponents Real Betis were left with nine men on the pitch on Wednesday, playing out an absorbing defeat to Atletico Madrid. The lack of rest and resulting suspensions come as a blow for manager Pepe Mel who has led Real Betis to three wins in La Liga this season including two on the road, which will serve as a warning for Manuel Pellegrini.

Malaga had a strong record at home last season picking up 14 wins at La Rosaleda and despite the loss of key personnel, Los Boquerones should have enough nous to secure all three points on Saturday.

Bayer Leverkusen
VS
Greuther Furth
Kick off: Saturday, September 29 at 14:30 BST
Tip: Bayer Leverkusen to win at 4/9 (1.44) with Bet365

Tuesday’s 2-0 defeat to Dusseldorf was Greuther Furth’s third defeat of the season and the fourth time that the Kleeblatter have failed to score.

The home losses to Bayern Munich and Schalke were expected but the defeat to fellow promoted side Dusseldorf at the Trolli Arena will have sounded alarm bells for coach Mike Buskens, whose side are struggling for goals and points early on in the season.

Hosts Bayer Leverkusen are not the force of previous years, but Germany internationals Andre Schurlle, Gonzalo Castro and Stefan Kiessling highlight the quality that is still available for manager Sami Hyypia.

Die Lowen have not lost at the BayArena since the end of March and the difference in class should be all too evident with opponents Greuther Furth struggling for goals in the Bundesliga.

Stoke
VS
Swansea
Kick off: Saturday, September 29 at 15:00 BST
Tip: Stoke to win at 5/6 (1.83) with Bet365

Tony Pulis’ side have held both Arsenal and Manchester City to draws at Britannia Stadium this season, but Stoke will need Peter Crouch and Jon Walters to reproduce the goals they scored at home last season if they are to come away with three points on Saturday.

Alarm bells are beginning to ring for Michael Laudrup and Swansea following defeats to Aston Villa and Everton. Laudrup was pleased with Swansea’s comeback in the Capital One Cup on Tuesday, but League One side Crawley Town were given plenty of opportunities to wrap the tie up.

Stoke were 2-0 victors in this fixture last season and another narrow win looks likely for the Potters this weekend.
