3-1 Wa All Stars
The former Udinese player finally had what he has been looking for since the Ghana league started. Osei going into the weekend had gone blank out of 10 matches and the pressure kept on mounting on the 22-year-old. But he did not give up until grabbing the third goal for Kotoko in their 3-1 win against Wa All Stars in Week 11 of the Glo Premier League. This happens to be his first goal for the Porcupine Warriors ever since making a return to Ghana to re-launch his career following regrettable experiences with clubs in Europe. Osei was very successful with Ghana’s 2007 Under-17 team and the 2009 U20 side.
Congratulations to Ransford Osei, Goal.com Ghana's 16th Player of the Week winner!

The Shortlist
RICHMOND BOAKYE YIADOM - SASSUOLO

The young striker would not stop scoring and again continues to prove why he is very important in the Serie B team. The 19-year-old scored the third goal when Sassuolo beat Padova 3-1. The goal took his tally to eight in the season as his side still heads the Serie B table.

ASAMOAH GYAN - AL AIN

The 27-year-old Ghana captain was on target again over the weekend after netting the second goal for Al Ain in their 2-0 victory at Al Nasr. That was his 21st goal in the season in 13 matches. He scored 22 in 18 matches last season to win the top scorer’s award and is in line to break that mark before emplaning for Ghana’s Afcon preparations and the tournament itself.

DANIEL DARKWA - ADUANA STARS

Adarkwa was a brace hero over the weekend when his side, Aduana Stars beat Medeama SC 2-0 to move to the summit of the Ghana Premier league table. He scored both goals in the first half.
