Van Gaal knows what he's doing, says Willems
The new Netherlands coach has the young full-back's full confidence after their 2-0 victory over Turkey in Amsterdam on Friday

Netherlands defender Jetro Willems has expressed his confidence in new coach Louis van Gaal, who has been quick to give youngsters a chance to represent their nation.
Oranje kicked off their new boss' regin with a 4-2 loss to neighbours Belgium in a friendly in August, but bounced back to beat Turkey in their first World Cup qualifying match 2-0 on Friday in Amsterdam.
The Dutch were made to work hard for their win, but Willems is certain that things will improve, and that the young squad will come good in time.
"[Van Gaal] knows what he's doing. He chooses based on his style, not on age," the PSV left-back opined to Goal.com after the game.
"As long as you can fill in the role he has pictured in his head, [you will get a chance.]"
Van Gaal's appointment also saw a shift in tactics for Oranje, with the side now employing the 4-3-3 formation, as opposed to previous coach Bert van Marwijk's preferred 4-2-3-1.
"Playing in his system takes little effort," Willems explained. "At PSV we play in a 4-3-3 as well. It's a true Dutch system, what I grew up with."
Netherlands will look to build on their victory when they travel to Hungary on September 11.
