The defender of Ghanaian descent has revealed that he is eager to play in the Serie A but would have to convince his partner to make that move
Belgian defender of Ghanaian origin Denis Odoi has hinted that he fancies a move to the Italian Serie A.
The Lokeren defender is having an excellent season in the Jupiler League but has hinted he could choose Italy as his next destination.
“Continuing my career abroad? It almost looks like the imagination. But I think I could convince my girlfriend to go there,” Odoi told the Belgian press.
“If I could choose, I will choose Italy. It is there that I could play with my qualities. In addition, I could learn a lot about the tactical level.”
Oddoi added: “Dries Mertens is a good friend and has told me many positive things about Italy also Radja Nainggolan told me also the same.”
The 24-year-old former Anderlecht player, who is considered as one of the most hard tackling defenders in Belgian, has been capped only once by the European side.
